Hey guys
Been sober about a week since after my relaspe and the past few days been working at random temp jobs

Got a job interview at Amazon Monday
Hopefully I have a new job next week or I'm fucked financially

Other than that..
Learning life lessons the hard way

Woke up this morning to a text from my friend who is in Kabul for a week that he was about 300 ft from being blown up by an attack on the green zone last night.

Well he lives here he's just there working at the embassy for a week. All the US government stuff is inside a compound. It was a missile attack.

Hey bud how goes it?

Thought you were starting a new job?

Any rate, hopefully you get that one at Amazon

I woke up a little earlier than I normally do on Saturdays.  Had a workout downstairs, my kids got up and fed them breakfast, helped my little man clean up and have a shower, I drove into town and booked a tattoo appointment (4 hours.  First tattoo!)

Then watched war of the worlds with the kids

Now It's noon, the tv is off And I have tunes playing on the home stereo.

Thinking about what I'm going to make me andbthe kids for lunch

Chill day.  Just had a new order of kratom show up (few different strains).  Might take some and start cleaning house after lunch

Keep it up! Its a tough road to go down I know first hand. Heroin and painkillers took ahold of my life for a good part of my 20's. In Nov it will be 2 yrs since I have done heroin thanks to getting on methadone. Getting into therapy and getting on methadone was my last chance I tried every other way from NA to inpatient rehabs and nothing ever helped. Everyone always told me to NEVER get on methadone and I listened to that for a few yrs of trying to get clean until I finally gave it a shot and I am sure glad I did since I got off the smack fent laced doped flooded my area and I lost 6 using friends in the past 2 yrs.
  Find a way that works for YOU. Everyone has different ways to stay away from their DOC. Ill be sending good vibes your way! If you ever need someone to talk to my inbox is always open my friend!

I did work a few days this week at the worst factory job I ever had

Yeah I've had some pretty shitty factory and warehouse jobs in my day.  I get it.

Just keep at it.  Work experience and a positive attitude pay off eventually.

Maaaaaannnn....lol where do I even begin. It's a long, long story. I started getting real close with this lil gal at work a few months ago...who's married. Yeah. Not proud of it. We were (and still are honestly) basically a couple on the side and of course the husband eventually found out. Lol dude's been making a lot of threats and tracked her phone to a happy hour we were at after work -- started talking shit so I started talking shit back. We were about to go at it right in the middle of the dining room of the restaurant, lol. My whole fuckin workplace knows. Some of them were even present at this happy hour. Thing is...I'm technically her boss. Shit could cost me my job. Hell the motherfuckers even brought the shit up at my employee review :rofl:

I've been showing my face everyday at work, where I also see her everyday, and every single coworker I got knows we're fucking and that she has a husband.

She asked me straight up last week if I'd be all in for her if she was to get the divorce...and I said yes. Whether she actually does it or not, who knows. I'll believe it when I see it. But yeah, between this whole thing with her, a husband who right now sees me as his mortal enemy (oh and not to mention her and him actually live within walking distance from me), and all the heat from my job about this...I've been an absolute fucking trainwreck lately. So logging onto the shroomery has just been one of the furthest things on my mind the past few months.

All in just means I'd be willing to give it a shot if she actually gets the divorce. If it didn't work out, so be it. As corny as it sounds there's a real connection between her & I that's worth a real shot...again assuming she gets the divorce.

Burke I do feel like a shitty person, don't get it twisted, but man when you have the type of spark and connection that goes way beyond sex...I mean damn. I'm human.
