is it possible to track someone just by their phone location?
    #24691726 -

I have a feeling I'm being followed. I've checked my car thoroughly for bugs and gps tracker but couldn't find any. Maybe it's so stealth that it's not easily found? Or maybe I can be tracked by my phone's GPS/data thing if one knew my phone number? Should I change my phone number?

You're not being followed. Lay off the meth.

Could you please elaorate and explain things more? why do you think someone is following you? is it just a feeling or is there some signs of this being the case?

As for someone tracking you by your mobile phone, yes it is possible but not just the average Joe blow can do this. The people tracking either need to have a good understanding of computers/hacking and software or they have a gov connection and if they are tacking you then changing your number wont do much. You will need to change your phone and if possible have a few so each day you can swap phones at random. but they will eventually notice what you are doing. if you really are being tracked then get help from a friend and lead them on a wild goose chase while changing phone throughout the day, message or call your friend to meet at  a location but per-organize so when you say meet at X it actually mean Y and he/she can bring one of your other phones to you, swap your phone then have them go away then at a random time, do that again. while doing this keep your eyes peeled and take notice of your surroundings, even take random photos to see if you see the same faces popping up.

To those that think this post is a bit crazy, well it does happen and probably more often than you think. Also yes they can track you by your mobile phones GPS, they can take photos on your phone, turn your microphone on, read your messages, listen to your calls and even check your email through your phone. put it this way what you can do on your phone, they can do it too and much more.

Do a google search on "Fin fisher" this is an old outdated application but still gets used a lot and now days there is more out there and much more powerful tools. Word is some ISP's have been busted recently knowingly infecting users phones with this.

google maps tracks you.  Ever leave the gps on and click on the maps app to see all the routes you've taken since the last time you opened the app? not sure what causes this

That's an option you can turn off. Most people just don't bother to look through the settings on their phones.

also, application wheres my android had updated to disable gps turn on.  Its kinda gay.  apparently people were worried they could be tracked without their knowledge.  But its also a down side because if you loose your phone and your gps is off, then gps will be unavailable to track your phone where before your key word would turn the gps on and then gps it

Yeah most phones do have the GPS option on all the time by default.

What if you install and reinstall the Maps wouldn't that delete routes you've taken? Also, would having the GPS on allow someone to determine "where I was at" as well or only in real time aka "where I'm at right now"? Let's say I was at Chipotle 2 days ago, could that be determined by the GPS, where I was at?

It's a combo of just a "feeling" (intuition) and real signs. I may have seen the same or similar looking people just wandering around doing observations of me in "dummy cars" (to make it least obvious they are following me). They won't use the same cars all the time. I've seen people pull in and out of parking lots next to me while I'm parked just to see what I'm up to then immediately pull off for no specific reason. You could say maybe they changed their mind about parking there, but whatever. LOL. This isn't paranoia otherwise I'd be aware of it by now. This is more careful observation. Other times they are just waiting outside inside their car after I eat at a restaurant then strangely starts driving when I start driving! The way they park is facing the restaurant as if to get a good look at me and what I'm doing.

It's not "obvious following" but more subtle, as if they know where I would be. Let's say I go get something to eat, a minute or so later, they're there as well, pulling in smoothly into the parking lot. Some have the subtle tinted windows, others make it least obvious by just being the "regular" yet the body language gave it away.

I would think them knowing my phone number allows them to follow me by my mobile device's GPS being on, not so much by the phone itself? So changing my number would make more sense than changing my phone? I wanted to change my phone but not my number, but now maybe I should do both.

Does anyone here know how I can find out where I was at on specific dates based on my phone's GPS? I'm not talking about "places I've visited" but more precise.

Why do you think your being followed.
Ie what would be their reasons?

I'm erring on the side of seeing patterns that aren't there tbh.

If i were involved in something g that would warrant the authorities attention....and it'd have to be serious...then I would be concerned.

If you have nothing to hide perhaps reporting it to the authorities could be your answer...or movement foward.

Gotta be honest with yourself before you can even come close to being rational.

I’d say leave you phone at home a few time and see if they still show up but I have a feeling the results would be flawed due to you possibly connecting dots that aren’t really there.

It costs money to have someone follow you. Unless you're making shitloads of illegal money or being extremely violent, you're just not worth it. Again, lay off the meth.

What about shape shifting cars? Ever have a car behind you and you look straight for a few seconds, or the car is coming up behind you and as it passes its become a different car entirely? Sometimes you swear they're coming up behind you and soon you realize they're not there anymore with no logical place they could've turned to in such a short amount of time.  Why one time, a cop got behind me so i was just concentrating on driving. Next thing I knew, when I looked up, it suddenly was a truck.  I swear, there are cloaks on these cars and often invisible people or ghost roadside watching as we drive by

sounds like another case of schizo/paranoid delusions.
it's more common that you think, at least in here you will see similar posts often.
stop doing drugs for at least a month, drink lots of water and sleep well
