It's a combo of just a "feeling" (intuition) and real signs. I may have seen the same or similar looking people just wandering around doing observations of me in "dummy cars" (to make it least obvious they are following me). They won't use the same cars all the time. I've seen people pull in and out of parking lots next to me while I'm parked just to see what I'm up to then immediately pull off for no specific reason. You could say maybe they changed their mind about parking there, but whatever. LOL. This isn't paranoia otherwise I'd be aware of it by now. This is more careful observation. Other times they are just waiting outside inside their car after I eat at a restaurant then strangely starts driving when I start driving! The way they park is facing the restaurant as if to get a good look at me and what I'm doing.
It's not "obvious following" but more subtle, as if they know where I would be. Let's say I go get something to eat, a minute or so later, they're there as well, pulling in smoothly into the parking lot. Some have the subtle tinted windows, others make it least obvious by just being the "regular" yet the body language gave it away.
I would think them knowing my phone number allows them to follow me by my mobile device's GPS being on, not so much by the phone itself? So changing my number would make more sense than changing my phone? I wanted to change my phone but not my number, but now maybe I should do both.
Does anyone here know how I can find out where I was at on specific dates based on my phone's GPS? I'm not talking about "places I've visited" but more precise.

As for someone tracking you by your mobile phone, yes it is possible but not just the average Joe blow can do this. The people tracking either need to have a good understanding of computers/hacking and software or they have a gov connection and if they are tacking you then changing your number wont do much. You will need to change your phone and if possible have a few so each day you can swap phones at random. but they will eventually notice what you are doing. if you really are being tracked then get help from a friend and lead them on a wild goose chase while changing phone throughout the day, message or call your friend to meet at a location but per-organize so when you say meet at X it actually mean Y and he/she can bring one of your other phones to you, swap your phone then have them go away then at a random time, do that again. while doing this keep your eyes peeled and take notice of your surroundings, even take random photos to see if you see the same faces popping up.
To those that think this post is a bit crazy, well it does happen and probably more often than you think. Also yes they can track you by your mobile phones GPS, they can take photos on your phone, turn your microphone on, read your messages, listen to your calls and even check your email through your phone. put it this way what you can do on your phone, they can do it too and much more.
Do a google search on "Fin fisher" this is an old outdated application but still gets used a lot and now days there is more out there and much more powerful tools. Word is some ISP's have been busted recently knowingly infecting users phones with this.
