shroomery been rocking pepe memes for a long time

much much longer than the alt right believe it or not

coincidence?

it seems people have sadly distorted the origins of the meme but thats how history tends to go, just water everything down more and more

pepe isnt a bad guy

wiki says:

Kek (also Kuk, Keku, Kekui) is the deification of the concept of primordial darkness (kkw smꜣw, keku-semau) in the Ancient Egyptian Ogdoad cosmogony.

As a concept, Kek was viewed as androgynous, his female form being known as Keket (also Kekuit). Kek and Keket in some aspects also represent night and day, and were called "raiser up of the light" and the "raiser up of the night", respectively.

The name is written as kk or kkwy (kkt, kkwyt) with a variant of the sky hieroglyph in ligature with the staff (N2) associated with the word for "darkness" kkw.

History:

In the oldest representations, Kekui is given the head of a serpent, and Kekuit the head of either a frog or a cat. In one scene, they are identified with Ka and Kait; in this scene, Ka-Kekui has the head of a frog surmounted by a beetle and Kait-Kekuit has the head of a serpent surmounted by a disk.

In the Greco-Roman period, Kek's male form was depicted as a frog-headed man, and the female form as a serpent-headed woman, as were all four dualistic concepts in the Ogdoad.

Yep

Pretty wild right?

Its actually pretty lolzy that people adapted it to be a neo nazi symbol in some instances

But what shroomery shows us is that the point of the pepe meme is it can represent really anything

Its completely malleable to what ever the memes creator is trying to represent in the moment

So when people say pepe is an alt right meme that is false, its been adapted by the alt right just as its been adapted by many other groups

Also the fact that it comes from ancient egypt is really cool, i think that needs further exploration

Language itself will probably evolve to a point that it has no finite meaning either and we will be speaking in gibberish. That frog got his moment of fame in a short cartoon where he was found to pee with his pants on his ankles. When asked why, he simply said :feelsgoodman:

Subsequent variations were made long before he became a hate symbol, and hes actually registered witn the SPLC as a hate symbol now.

The shroomery lulz frog predates the hate and stands completely apart from it.

also as far as red pilling goes i also find the fact such a concept has become an "alt-right" meme to be hilarious because years ago me and my buddies used to hang out and snort and shoot mxe all the time and would regularly joke about how THAT was taking redpills

we would call people who didn't get it blue pillers and just dismiss them as fools

I feel like psychedelic interest/use and genocide are somewhat incompatible.

has that even happened? i know Hillary said it was a "far right hate symbol" but that's just because it was adopted by the "alt right" aka internet trolls that the media takes seriously
