Being treated like I'm incapable...

Of doing anything because I'm pregnant. 3 days before a show I'm told I don't need to go because my SO "won't be able to make it to the stage" because I'm pregnant and if I get that close I'll be squished up against people... does this sound like a genuine concern or an excuse to be selfish and go without me because I sure feel like I'm just not welcome to even stand beside him. Am I being unreasonable or rightfully pissed?

What does him making it to the stage have to do with you going to a show? He can go to the stage and you can hang back and just meet up after. It's not a big deal.

It is not harmful, I've asked my doctor. The suggestion that it causes stillbirth is preposterous.

If it's safe for you and your unborn child, than you should be able to go no matter what anyone says, right?

I understand that such decisions can complicate a relationship, and that in relationships there are many compromises to keep both parties happy, but you are still a free human.

Stay the fuck home, a preggo chick shouldn't be at a concert with drunks, second hand smoke and people moshing and shit, and loud music. Why would you be trying to cockblock on your bf's good time enjoying a concert? It sounds like your being unreasonable. you need to realize your single and child less unpregnant friends can do shit that you can't. it's part of being a parent. deal with it OP. You sound like your trying to continue a lifestyle that you don't have the freedom to lead now that you have more important responsibilities.

I haven't been anywhere in years because I'm a parent. This was my one vacation in that long and I'm only 3 months pregnant. You wouldn't know unless I told you, you sound like another person stuck in the 50's thinking pregnant women are fucking handicapped.

You should have bought another ticket with his credit card and went yourself. Then again, I wouldn't have a problem bringing a 3 month pregnant girlfriend. I wouldn't want you in the mosh pit, that's about it really if its that kind of show. But what do I know?

The chances of OP getting hurt are pretty slim I am sure she would not stand in center of a mosh pit.

OP I am sorry but he sounds like he just doesn't want you to go for whatever reason. If you were farther along then I would understand the concern. Even still selling someone's ticket without reasoning behind it is a pretty passive aggressive move.

How dare you call someone trashy while having little comprehension or experience. If you have either than you're not very bright. She's a mother, do you not think she knows the limits of being pregnant? 3 months pregnant isn't shit. OP, I'm with the other guy. He doesn't want you to go because he either wants time alone before the baby or maybe he just wants to get really fucked up in public without having to worry about his pregnant girlfriend. If I were tripping for instance, that might really influence my time. That being said he is being selfish, but selfish isn't inherently bad. It's just bad for you. Just don't make a big deal of it ok? Then a few months from now when the baby is screaming all night you can make him give you some time for yourself. LOL

You've never heard of a crack-baby? They're usually pre-term and born with circulation problems, and god know what kind of psychological issues. Make sure you never breed.
