Annoyed. With misinformation.

Okay.  So someone was giving misinformation about magic mushrooms at another site I visit.  I correct them, and then suddenly the moderator comes down on my ass saying that I'm in trouble for "encouraging" drug use, when all I was trying to do is give TRUTHFUL information.  But apparently, only misinformation is allowed.  :nonono: 

Grr...I'm feeling insecure for some reason, now.  :frown:

Thanks everyone.  Well, now the mod has banned me because I dared to ask him in a private message, "What encouragement? I was giving facts".  :frown:

Similar kindve happened to Ori and me on a PC game we play. We have a few people who play that sometimes ask either Ori or myself about drugs - only dosings and affects and such.. So we were of course answering..

and this couple who were like 21 or something? started attacking us, saying we're hippy druggies and promote drugs and everything.. and I fought back because I'm not even really a drug user.. and the guys girlfriend started calling me a moron and a slut.. and saying how we were immature and idiotic (yea i'm immature and idiotic.. yet shes calling me a slut over drugs?) ..

they judged our lifestyles and told us that because we were younger (we're both 18) .. that we were morons and didnt know anything at all etc. Well they kicked us from the game and seemed to have banned us.. but supposedly they didnt ban us - only kicked us. It was just really stupid and pathetic.

We said we encourage knowledge, not drugs.. and how we dont want people to die or hurt themselves because of ignorance.. and they just bashed us horribly. It was pathetic.

Later we discussed it in private, and their clan owner (clan of the game) made a public apology.. which was great in all.. but still pretty much said that we were young children and ignorant because of it .. since drugs are never a good idea. Meh!.

People just dont get it sometimes.

what kind of forum was it? like just generally. i never got kicked for saying stuff about drugs even at super uptight places like this vegan forum they kicked me cuz i said meat tastes good but never cuz i said i :heart: mushrooms or herion even lol

Its a private fetish-oriented forum that I've been involved with since the beginning.  Thats why I don't want to make things worse there since I'm somewhat of a original figure there, otherwise I'd post the url for shroomerites to go at it.  :grin:

It has about five hundred members, but less then twenty members even post anything.  What makes me sad, is that this mod basically posts all sorts of bad shit about drug use all the time, but when anyone tries to differ of opinion, they get canned.
