Looks like the stem is not glabrous and has a lot of setea/setulae on it? In that case its Coprinellus sect. setulosi.

Second ones are Coprinopsis sect. Lanatuli.

Once temps stay fairly warm out during the nights/days, with lots of moisture, then the active Pans will fruit in abundance.  I always saw Pan paps/ants growing in large numbers a month or two before the cincts started popping, so just take a mental note of those areas where you have found many inactive pans, because around June after a nice rain, I bet you find some actives there.

I hope so dude. Cause I'm not exaggerating, you would not be able to count all the paps I see there every day.

We've had temps in the steady 70s-80. Last night though got down to 43. Rain was day before yesterday. But everything still sopping wet

Dude if you've got that many growing..
You better have a good system for handling huge quantities because the cincts are coming.

If nobody else frequents your spot pick them when they're fully mature or when they are at risk of being ruined either by sunlight dry conditions or bugs, past their prime.

In my area they grow for up to 10 days. If you leave them alone some get huge here but we did have extraordinarily wet conditions this winter...

Get your camera, dehydrator and brain ready... Cincts are so fun you will love them. Supercharged energy levels and incredible visuals both open and closed eyes. I can't advocate enough for how fun they are. But it sounds like soon you will see...

Well the first time I found the paps I brought home like 320 grams wet. I brought them home because I thought they were active. So y'all really think they're coming then huh?

I feel like they're coming but that's based on my experience really far from you. If you get some good rain and cloudy days they will come. If you need spores to make them come, you let me know

Because everywhere I've put them has blown up.
