IMDB message boards are gone

Word is they shut that shit down. Why, I don't really know.

They had a discussion board for literally every individual movie, television show, actor, actress, etc.

I loved hitting the IMDB boards after a flick just to see what others thought.

Damn! RIP IMDB message boards

They shut them down because they believed the boards were no longer providing positive input on shows/films/discussions/debate/etc. Even though they were. The only problems were... trolls. They're the reason the boards were shut down. I knew alot of people on the boards. Alot of good people. Alot of people I made friends with. People I have no contact with anymore. I don't know how to reach them either. IMDB are pussies. They let the other side win. It was very easy, ignore people, don't report them. Just ignore. That was, ultimately, the issue. Trolls, and idiots clicking the report button.

Like I said, the boards "weren't providing a positive feedback" or "positive discussion" or whatever. Whatever, bro. In the end, the trolls won. IMDB is run by a bunch of pussies. Huge ass pussies. I had friends there that I'll never get to speak to again.

You don't know that. You may meet them on some other random message board, as some other random name.. but the same friends.

Of course, you may never know. So the effect is essentially the same.

But yeah IMDB = pussies

No. Not all of them were my friends. Some of them. And the few I knew who were my friends weren't trolls. Alot of them weren't trolls. Very few of them were trolls, actually. Depending on which movie or show you visited there... you knew who were trolls and who weren't actually real, which people were real. Something IMDB couldn't piece together......

If you're looking to link up with your IMDB refugee buddies, I would look for a subreddit to pop up surely, and pay attention to similar threads on similarly based subreddits. As it's likely a good cross section will be involved in those same communities and probably looking for an outlet to vent similar kinds of frustrations and to locate the newest rendezvous
