Yeah the characters are written differently in the scripts, I'm just saying his ability to act them any differently is very limited. Here he is looking kind of baffled in various roles:

Just yesterday I posted about how Keanu is wooden in every performance.  I agree that all his roles are basically done in the same manner, from Ted to Neo.  Nic Cage is another actor who plays different roles, but all his characters pretty much come from the same angle.

I also feel that a better casting choice for Neo would've been Brandon Lee, had he not been dead.

Brandon Lee is an odd choice. Did you choose him because he was half asian as well?

Aside from the crow, what else was he in?  I can only think of one, some early 90s action movie I remember seeing a little of. Never caught the whole thing but i think he was a cop chasing some bad guy down and kicking ass in typical 90s movie martial arts style. It looked meh.

And despite the cult following and my own childhood infatuation, the crow really wasnt all that great of a film.

The bottom picture of Keanu psi posted looks strange. He looks way more Asian and way older than normal, his face even seems shaped different to me. Could just be a weird angle and lighting. What movie is that shot from?

What always baffled me is Tom Cruise; Like seriously, who the fuck looked at Tom Cruise auditioning and was like "That is him, That's our badass in this cinematic adventure!"

The guys 5'7" 160lbs soaking wet.

Apparently it's a movie called Exposed that came out last year. I just found the pic in a Google image search for something like "baffled Keanu Reeves".

I have no qualms with johnny depp, or any performer for that matter. I think he still remains one of the most underrated actors while also being one the most overrated, it's not an easy thing to do. People will find something to dislike about anyone really, and its super easy, and peeps will stick to ur every word like glue when u do it, but i consider it like the cheapest form of criticism, i call it cardboardbox critism.

With that said i think micheal jackson spent a whole lot more than that. I saw a documentery on him and youd see the dude walking into these weird antique stores in vegas, dude would buy these 500,000 dollar vases, like " yea gimme two of those", then move on to the next thing like he was doing his grocery shopping..

You would think it would be hard to stay grounded with that 'privilege'.  Plus, enough cash to do anything.. except walk down the street and not get eyeballed or flocked to in some cases.  That would drive me nuts..

In fact I'll always have a soft spot for the dude considering he starred in probably my favorite film of all-time, which is Fear & Loathing. I know it's cliche to love that film here since it's a damn psychedelic mushroom website, but I've literally seen that film over a hundred times and I swear, for me, it NEVER gets old

Some people don't like to watch it tripping though -- but I personally think it's freaking fantastic. I thought it was brilliantly fucking done. I read a review once that summed it up perfect...the movie is like a psychedelic trip in itself -- highs, lows, paranoia, hysterically funny parts, parts that are dark, parts that are introspective...I think it's a must see at least once in the midst of a trip. If you do though watch it on the back half of the trip...watching a film, for me anyway, during the come up and all the way to the peak is too difficult. It's better on the back half where you've plateau'd and you're comfortable.



that's the scene early in the film where he just ate a strip of acid and it was hitting him as he got to the hotel...it's pretty over the top but it's still awesome nonetheless lol
