what are some things you do to make stuff easier?

like, I wanted to delete a list of songs just now, so I held shift, clicked the first item, and by clicking the last thing, all the things in between were selected and deleted

kinda...dumb whatever, but I want to know more of that stuff

another list skill lol~ hold control to select individual things

When I realize that I want to look at that tab I just closed in Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + "T"

Or holding Control and rolling the mouse wheel to zoom. That's one that works in almost every program that I'm surprised a lot of people don't use.

If on win7+
Win + Space - makes all windows transparent so you can see the desktop
Win + P - to cycle through presentation modes for different displays
Win + R - run command
Win + + - open magnifier
Alt + Ctrl + L - opens lense mode
Win + Esc exits
many also don't know you can Alt+Tab but also just keep holding down on alt and release tab then use the arrow keys to cycle through all the windows
Hold down Shift and hit Enter when launching a program to open any program with Admin rights
Hold down Shift and Delete when deleting something to 'permanently' delete it and bypass recycling bin
Hold down Shift when Right clicking something to access the 'full' secret sent to: menu.
If on Win10, Win+X to open the power user menu
there's a few..

In Windows, Win + left or right arrow button is good for docking the window to one half of the screen. Up maximizes and down minimizes. In Ubuntu it's ctrl+Win+arrow. Some other Windows button shortcuts work in ubuntu by adding ctrl (d for desktop works this way I think).

Ctrl-alt-arrow button rotates the screen in windows, up for normal orientation. Good to know if you trigger it accidentally and need to fix. Ctrl-alt-t opens a terminal in ubuntu.
