Where's my fellow daredevils at?

Who loves pushing things right to the edge? Whether it be life though some adventure sport or dangerous activity, the edge of your consciousness through drugs, or the edge of your stamina and ability through some physical activity.

It occurred to me just the other day in therapy that I've tried taking things to the limit in just about every way possible for a man not super rich (and if I was super rich, I'd sure as fuck be doing shit like skydiving from the edge of space), and it got me wondering how many of my compadres here feel the deep pull to do the same...

The biggest rush so far is 185mph on my motorbike. The most awe inspiring is scuba diving a reef.

Jumping out of a plane on acid was definitely the biggest rush for me, highly doubt ill ever do anything as extreme as that again in my lifetime lol now jumping in general is basically a hobby of mine that ive been doing every weekend. in a way it really does feel like a form of therapy to me everytime i go. My mind has never felt as clear and focused then it does when I jump and after. As of now i dont see myself ever stopping and it has opened me up to trying new and adventerous things because life in general doesnt seem as scary to me as it was made out to be when i was growing up

Tripping so HARD on dissociatives that I start hallucinating vividly out of every sense and faculty in a complete brainwide synesthesia while communicating with spirits, further, further!

If I get a horrid bad trip, piece myself together and slam the accellerator to defeat that fear :strangelove:

What are some examples of the daredevil stuff you do?

I like exerting myself and testing myself and a little danger but I try to avoid any unwise risks

We have done some very dangerous hikes such as through guerilla trails in Nicaragua , my wife almost didn't get down from that one :eek:

She has gone sky diving but I am too scared. She flies tiny two person planes so I have to be brave enough to go with her .

I have taken some huge risks with drugs in my youth but that was madness and God help me I am past taking risks with my life I hope .

As I get older I have more to lose and a more developed risk assessment system in my brain

I like effort and exertion not danger per se.

When I was younger I would longboard some huge hills in NYC and Long Island. Jumping off bridges into water.  I'd like to do wing suits sometime in my lifetime.

Some people push the boundaries of extreme sports, leaping from great heights into the airy known.

Others push boundaries of their own minds, leaping deep into their own brain into an unknown abyss.

Some do both, some do neither.

I trust burrowing into my own mind rather than jumping from heights.

It would be nice, though.

185 mph on a motorcycle must have been really insane. I chickened out at 115 mph on a goldwing on the highway, I thought that was really crazy lol. Quickly slowed back down to 80mph.

Going up to around 90mph on a back road without a helmet on made me feel pretty crazy.

I would often be rooted on by traffic going by if I was on a main road.  Had some bad spills. one time Iheld onto a friends car with my longboard and ended up crashing with no shirt and shoes on .  Had rocks and sand all in my hands chest and legs.  That felt bad.

me an my friend used to drive around with me driving and him on the side of a car on his skateboard

we got pulled over like 4 times until we finally got a ticket for it, lol. haven't done it since, fuck tickets

Used to do some pretty reckless things skiing. I still like to push the boundries with it and riding my bike but from a safe distance. I went through a pretty heavy drinking phase that in hindsight was a bit pushing it.

I like to top cars out...I went 150 one time, still had 1k rpms left, and 140 in another vehicle twice. That one still had 2k rpms left. Just wanted to see how the bitch would do. Doing it on a daily basis would fuck em up though. Only a couple times, when the cops are following.:heytherebadboy:
