I'm allergic to weed, and so is an aunt of mine.  Nothing will happen to my fingers while handling it, but if I don't wash my hands, and I touch my inside forearm, or scratch my forehead, or my cheeks or face or neck, I'll get raised red blotches that will itch like a mofo for 20-30 minutes.  And some weed, but not all, will make me sneeze just from breaking it up.

I had the same thing happen. I quit smoking weed for six years. In the end it turned out being pesticides and chemicals and shit, not the actual herb itself. It started getting worse with fruits and vegetables. If I broke some up and touched my eye, it'd be full blown bloodshot and swollen. Sometimes you can be allergic to molds and such, too. If the weed or produce is organic I'm fine.
