Over the years i have come to practice techniques from several magickal 'systems' including ceremonial magick, chaos magick, enochian, goetia, invocation ov gods/goddesses, aqueous cunning and some other techniques from Chumbley/Schulke's cultus sabbati, asana yoga, drug magick, attempting dream work and astral projection, and using the i-ching.  Nowadays i am a bit magickally lazy to be honest due to my very busy schedule and alcohol problem.  I do still cast a circle and have a drop ov a philtre every morning around 10:30 facing the sun, brew a philtre once in a while, do a freeform full moon ritual,  perform a banishing ritual or cast a sigil on occasion, and contact the goddess Hecate once a year.  It is still a strong part ov my life and my perception ov it however, and i'm trying to incorporate my concepts into an erotico-spiritual novel i'm (slowly)working on.

As for some conceptions ov what magick is and how it works, well....  I believe that we live in a timebound universe ov order and reason, but for our universe to exist implies that there is a omniverse that's completely absent ov time/space.  This is an omniverse that's chaotic in that it contains all potential.  Order and time/space are born out ov this by the necessity to be experienced, but they are malleable once realizations ov the chaotic, timeless omniverse become reified.

On a personal level, we have the will ov desire that's governed by restriction and order, but in accordance with the omniverse, every person has a will that's not governed by time/space.  And as the opposite ov restriction is love(not hate as is commonly assumed), the omniverse is pure love.  It is the restrictions placed upon us by the barriers ov our timebound universe, either by ourselves or others, which keep us from experiencing the timeless will.  This will is the "true will" as described in thelema and the path towards its reification is the great work. 

Now then, we have what i call the timeweaver.  This is one and the same as Crowley's holy guardian angel, Lilly's earth coincidence control office, and the trickster ov several native American tribes.  The timeweaver is dissolved into the infinite whole by the 2=0 nature ov chaotic thought, but every person by necessity has to have an individual timeweaver.  And what one's individual timeweaver is, is one's breeder ov order by way ov coincidences to the result ov a human's realization ov hir true will.  Sometimes, however, these coincidences may manifest as negative in our realm because we may not perceive the implications in the future for our own transcendence ov restriction and realization of love.

As far as magick is concerned, so far as science is generally concerned with working under order, magick is the science ov working outside time/space and order.  By utilizing magick, we then effectively deal with infinite potential in the omniverse that manifests in the universe through coincidences by way ov the timeweaver. 

But the thing with magick is that it takes the path ov least resistance.  So if one works with Jupiter for instance in hopes ov winning the lotto, this is hard to do because the chances are so small.  However, if one has a few job applications out there, one might then call.  Or if one casts a love spell, it'll likely work if the intended person has an inkling ov hidden attraction for you but is just restricted in some way, but it most likely wont work if you're not appreciated by that person.  As a personal example toward this: I wanted to change my life a bit by using the fire elemental.  Thus i made and charged a fire sigil and cast it into the fire oven ov the place i was working at and wanted to leave.  I'll be damned if the wall behind a burner a few feet away from the oven did'nt catch on fire 15 minutes later!  We were closed for a two days.  The fire started because the new burner's outlet was aimed right onto the wall, but the timeweaver arranged for that coincidence to occur at that time due to my sigil.  My intention to change and leave the place were exacted, if only for the two days we were closed!
