Once again the Federal Reserve has nothing to do with what portrait is on our currency. They do not decide. 

Also they started putting portraits on our currency before the Federal Reserve was even created.

Actually there is more coming.  On the back of the $5, i think it is, they are adding MLK and somone else. I can't remember who. Obviously this is slightly different as they aren't removing Lincoln, just adding people on the back of it.

Jackson was not prosecuted for murder, and the duel had very little effect on his successful campaign for the presidency in 1829. Many American men in the early 1800s, particularly in the South, viewed dueling as a time-honored tradition. In 1804, Thomas Jefferson’s vice president Aaron Burr had also avoided murder charges after killing former Treasury secretary and founding father Alexander Hamilton in a duel. In fact, Rachel’s divorce raised more of a scandal in the press and in parlors than the killing of Dickinson.

It's a token gesture in lieu of actual reparations or funded programs to make a difference. The face on the money doesn't change to whom it is going to, nor the people that it is being stolen from.

The picture on money is the least meaningful gesture I can think of.

Many of those sentences were ended with prepositions...
