Let's be clear here.  The University allowed Ben Shapiro to speak on campus, in spite of the protests.

In other words, universities are NOT banning speech.

Relax, free speech is still alive and well at Universities, in spite of a few people who don't get it.

A university isn't exactly public property though.

Free speech doesn't mean you're required to give someone a platform, and it does also mean you can voice your own dissent.

I do agree when they say they have a right to be heard too. 

It seems they have been heard as far as the shroomery.

I agree, Shapiro isn't entitled to speak at any University, but with that being said a organization on campus wanted to invite him for his presentation. If other organizations are allowed the same privilege for their speakers, then why not Shapiro?

Absolutely, but they threaten physical violence and also demand the President get fired for allowing the speaker to perform, it has NOTHING to do with the substance of his material.

Why don't they debate the subject matter instead of demanding that the speech shouldn't be allowed at all?
