Me and my girlfriend want to have a threesome

The title says it all really, we were both talking and it came up that it'd be interesting to try a threesome. I was actually somewhat surprised because she was always contained a bit of jealousy for anyone who felt like a threat, but the way she sees it is that we have a lot of intimacy during sex and to use someone to replace that is wrong, but to add a third person every once in a while for fun is fine (given that we both consent and are present during the experience).

From asking her I know that she's much more interested in trying it with a second female which is more the fine by me (so at least we don't have any conflicting interests), and the experience itself will probably contain lots of tying up.....

Out of curiosity what is your experience with threesomes? How difficult is it to find a third person and where would be best to start looking?

I made a thread on this a while back, you may want to search for it. It's in this forum and a few months old.

First off, congratulations on your embarking on this adventure! It can be frustrating and confusing for some, but overall we found it to be a lot of fun!

Make sure you have a clear understanding of what both of you do and don't want. If either of you draws the line at some point, respect that. Also allow each other to change your views as you gain experience. Some things may turn out to be less scary than you think at first, and sometimes something unpleasant catches you unexpectedly. Keep communicating and remain sensitive to each other's limits and desires. If you've bonded well as a couple, you may find this experience can even tighten your bond - but the risk is also there that the experience can create distance between the two of you. Remain alert, but also go with the flow and enjoy the ride!

Finding another woman is probably a bit harder than finding a guy, but it's certainly possible and it happens all the time.

We found tinder and okcupid to be the easiest ways to find a third party. Take some time to make a good profile with clear information on what you want and put up some nice pictures. Strike a balance between being clear on your intentions, but keep in mind that being too blunt may scare off potential matches.

Also, and most importantly: in our experience it works way better if the first contact is between the ladies. Let your gf do the matching and initial contacting. Women looking for women are much more likely to be interesting in a threesome than women looking for men. Once you've contacted someone and you hit it off, meet up quickly; texting for weeks doesn't work.

Thank you to you both!

For the record my girlfriend is currently interested more in a threesome with another girl while showing little/no interest in one with an extra male. Like she started losing interest in guys all together (except me) after a few months of being together while showing a huge interest in girls (which I think is what led her to this).

I doubt we'll do anything for the moment though as we're both currently very sick. We'll meet up next week and decide where to go from there, I was mostly just looking for pointers on finding an extra girl from other people's experiences (I'm fairly inexperienced with how such a thing is accomplished). Btw, you mentioned tying up - while we found quite a few women into that sort of thing on tinder (actually, most women who are into threesomes seem to be into other kinky stuff as well), if you want to move further into bdsm, fetlife.com may be worth looking into. I'm not sure how easy or hard it is to meet people through that site though; I hardly have any experience there save for the incidental hookup.
