No Valentines...

I've never had one so this isn't anything new... No weed today either... Have to go to work... Had a dream last night that I was in high school again and in the dream I had a girlfriend. Waking up sad sucks... No friends, no weed, no girl. :sad:

You say you have no friends, well I'm your friend and I'm telling you that you don't need any of those things to be truly happy.. all you need is a positive mindset

Valentine's Day is such a shitty holiday IMO because its very existence guilt-trips people who may not have a significant other into thinking they're lesser beings simply because they don't have what society expects them to have

Well I'll tell you I have no weed right now, I have no girlfriend, I have barely any true friends in real life.. but the one thing I do have is hope, the hope that one day I shall be able to build myself from the ground up, to prove to the whole world that I don't need superficial friendships or false lovers to truly feel at peace.. all I need is myself, and the willpower and discipline to keep growing as an individual, and as long as I keep doing that and never give up everything else will fall into place and I will never feel sad about things that are beyond my control.. and if I can do that, I know you can do it too

Thanks for the kind words man. I truly feel like shit right now. Especially after waking up from that dream I had. I feel all I live for right now is working... working a shitty ass job that is. I want to just leave and travel out west... I don't know if that's a dumb idea though. I have the money. I just don't have the balls... Fuck me.

Yeah having dreams about a significant other is rough, but don't let it bring you down

Thinking positive is hard sometimes but I assure you if you make an effort to do so you can get through any shitty situation and be a better man for it

I was in a relationship once with the most beautiful woman I have ever met.. we were so deeply in love for years, but I was selfish.. I ultimately chose to get high and neglect her feelings so she was forced to go down another path and abandon me.. I was torn apart for a very long time, she was my entire world and when she left me my world fell apart

That was many years ago and I still think about her every day, but over time I have cultivated a positive mindset and now I look forward to every moment of every day, even when things don't feel like they deserve one I put a smile on my face regardless and I wear it with pride, and I find that no matter how miserable I thought I was it was never truly as bad as it seemed

I may go on a bike ride. That's what I like to do when I feel like shit. Right now I'm listening to a pretty epic CD on the internet. It's called Abrakadabra by a band called Klockwerk Orange. Being on the shroomery makes me feel sort of down in the dumps in a way... not sure why. Anyone else feel like that when on this site? I think it's time for me to get off now. Bon voyage people.

Yeah go for a nice long bike ride, put everything you have into it, clear your mind and think about nothing but the ride, moving meditation in a way, that always helps me get negative feelings off my chest

Dont let it get u down man. My older brother was getting depressed over it too...hes never had a girlfriend. I had tk tell him the same thing along the lines of what was said above.

I have to work all day and then pick my children up on my way home from work, so my ex can be taken on a date and fucked by her boyfriend...:frown:

There are many around the world in a similar boat OP :hug:

It could be worse.  You could be in some northern part of Africa or some other war torn area dodging bullets for Valentine's day :shrug:

I know the feeling man exact same scenerio for me. I still think about her all the time, but i havent quite conqured the positive mindset part. It can be really hard. Im a lot better than i was but i still beat myself up over it...how things could be different now if i had not made the choices i made.
