i can see defending spectator sports. (i used to enjoy sports when i was young, -- seeing how it's employed to the youth, there's really no getting away from that, but you know, i say that even though i'm not really into them anymore (don't follow sports and never have; i just watched indiscriminately, i played more sports [and e-sports, lol] than watched; only been to one game of basketball my whole life.).

i can't see defending anything involving the spectating of sports though, unless you play yourself...otherwise, what are you defending? eating hot dogs, drinking beer, and sitting down to watch entertainment?

well if that's it, then one can't judge someone for partaking in any entertainment, (including strumming a guitar), let alone, for being a non-entity in that field or skill-tree.
