'traditional' italian pizza is terrible in general, so i cant imagine italian pizza from a vending machine is any better.

I'd rather have that pizza than pizza from 7-11

I would try it. The crust kinda looked uncooked when it came out though.

That pizza is completely undercooked and also going to be floury as fuck. The dough wasnt proofed

Proofing means there's less flour?

Proofing is a process when yeast in the dough(this probably has no yeast added) is allowed to eat the sugar added to the dough, creating air bubbles so that he crust isnt like eating playdoh

Why would it be horrible?

Maybe it's a kickass dough recipe.
Maybe it's high quality deli meat.
Maybe the cheese is amazing.

Just because you take away the greasy hands of the cook that just scratched his sweaty balls doesn't mean you automatically take away good taste.

Pizza made for wide distribution, like chain restaurants and vending machines, often sacrifices quality for availability and consistency.  The questions are often like, "What can we do to make sure the sauce tastes the same on every pizza in every machine, and that we get the same amount of sauce on each pizza every time?"

I remember I was at this hotel that had an automatic pancake machine for the breakfast. Tasted the same way playdoh smells.

baking powder eliminates the need for proofing because there's no yeast
