Anyone know about "Kodi" for the Amazon Fire Stick?
    #22706681 -

Just found some commentary on this Kodi thing. Sounds too good to be true.

For about $65 you get a jailbroken Firestick and with Kodi you can watch free Pay Per View, all sports, tons of those online "illegal" movie channels (movie4k, etc.) where you stream new releases before they are in the theaters, and lots of live TV channels.

Can someone verify if you get all this with Kodi? I don't have cable and looking to add to my streaming arsenal (I have Netflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon, etc.).

I have the fire tv, it was $99. I really like it. I thought the sticks weren't as good.

I side-loaded kodi no problem. You can side-load other android apps, too. All these extra channels come from plug-ins for kodi. I haven't found a lot of good plug-ins other than the ones that come with it.

My father uses the Google box with kodi I believe. I'm pretty sure it does all that and he's very happy with it. I just torrent to the same effect though
