What are you cooking for Christmas lunch/dinner?

How do you do Christmas at your place? Who cooks? What do you eat?

I'm cooking for my dad and stepmum this year in Virginia. My dad is a non-religious French "catholic" and my stepmum is Japanese and Buddhist, we don't really give a shit about Christmas except for the food and family. 

French families typically have a family meal Christmas Eve in the evening so we'll be doing that tonight.

I'm cooking duck, because i like duck alot. Making gravy, crispy roast potatoes, brussel sprouts, carrots, tons of garlic, celery etc.

for dessert we are having cooked pears in chocolate FTW.

Prime rib, roasted potatoes, mashed taters, green beans, mixed veggies, German potato salad, goumpki and pierogi. Throwing some weed in the gravy. I have a lot of kif and older bud that I'm afraid will go bad.

I'm at my parents now, my brother had to work today so him and my SIL are coming up later, I'm going to go pick my grandmother up for dinner in another couple of hours.
My mom is cooking this beastly lasagne, everything from scratch. Meatballs, sausage, ricotta, fresh mozzarella, and a nice sauce from scratch - she's been slaving away in the kitchen all day.


My dad and I have the job of running out to the store for anything that was forgotten, and staying out of the way. We've been watching Mozart in the Jungle and Breaking Bad all day.



Tomorrow we travel out of state to my mom's side of the family for a get together - they're intensely Sicilian and have been running an Italian Bakery in the NYC area a few generations now, so the food is redonkulous. I may or may not go because I have work on the 26th, and because they're all coming out this way next week for my brother's wedding anyway.

That work shit is overrated.  I always get nailed having to work holidays.  I've come to find its easier picking up another job than it is getting Christmas back.  When the family is still around, etc.

We just use the drippings from meat and potatoes, throw pulverized weed in and it's good to go. Can hardly taste it over the other herbs and spices. We infused our turkey with it at Thanksgiving. I almost got tired of getting high from eating.

I'm making a turkey and onion casserole Besides that we're having stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, corn casserole, green bean casserole, biscuits, and cheesecake.

Tonight I'm going out for dinner. Restaurants are usually opened tonight aren't they?

I'm doing the turkey and gravy at my friends place cause they don't know how to cook lol, the girls are taking care of the mashed potatos, yams, corn, bean casserole and I picked up a pumpkin pie. We also got lots of beer and weed :bigjoint:
