right on I have played pipes since I was just a kid. I have an accordion around the house somewhere too.. also play the guitar and bass.  Ya the second band is unique too but Gordon Duncan( the piper)has been compared to the Hendrix of the pipes. The BBC even made a documentary in his memory when he passed away.

Cool, I played Uillean pipes a bit as a kid but never really took to it. I play mostly tenor banjo/tenor guitar and a bit of button accordion. There's a guy here called Apollyphelion who plays some other kind of European bagpipes that I think have a bellows like Uillean pipes, maybe he will see this thread at some point.

Nice ya i searched bagpipes before I posted saw some old threads figured the pub could use it. Yea i didnt take to it that well either I can only play at a beginner or maybe moderate level..but I might start playing again for a laugh.
