In the latest proof that the culinary experts at every casual chain restaurant are actually stoners in basements, Buffalo Wild Wings will add Mountain Dew-flavored wings to its menu. The unholy partnership of Steve Rannazzisi’s former home and green soda is meant to celebrate the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl game (catchy) between University of Michigan and University of Florida on New Year’s Day. The sauce, Zesty Citrus, will be available at your nearest mall beginning December 14. It sounds… not terrible?

Available in restaurants from December 14, 2015 through January 2, 2016, the bold citrus flavor of Mountain Dew was infused with lemongrass and spicy red pepper-flakes to create a blast of sweet and spicy that will leave Guests asking for more. (Via)

In the press release, Buffalo Wild Wings’ vice president of marketing regularly refers to the restaurant as “B-Dubs,” because he’s secretly Steve Buscemi going undercover on 30 Rock. “How do you do, fellow kids? Who’d like to join me for a tasty meal down at the local B-Dubs for some clever integration, I mean, Mountain Dew chicken wings? Ain’t no thang.”
