AFI is suppost to be punk, but they went soft. But APC is definatly amazing.

there aint 2 people in the world with the same taste.
Last year my 2 faves had to be...
Primal Scream..Live In Japan...
there were to many to choose a second, APC, BRMC
Muse, Korn, Michael Franti, to many for me to choose.

Yeah genre's do suck, they detract from the musical value of most bands but its one of the few ways to describe music to people where they'll actually understand.

yeah I never really listened to AFI, I only heard their singles/famous songs which probably aren't their best, all of my favorite band's best songs are definitely not the ones that everybody knows (in my opinion). I listened to old APC a long time ago, but havent heard their new stuff.

Whatever you want to call it.... AFI has some talent  :thumbup: they started out doing their own thing...and have continued....evolving to what they are now....

yeah I've been down with AFI since like 94 or 95, their definitely not the same but they have definitely gone through a natural progression as a band.
