If it's so great and modern technology is so bad why do you spend 363 days in this toxic world?  Why don't you spend 363 days a year living in that meadow with deer licking your face while you giggle and 2 days a year in the toxic technology world?  For someone who only spends 2 days a year in nature you sure do sound like the foremost authority on that lifestyle:grin:

I'm wondering if it is possible to discuss race at all without this happenstances.

Is the core of our members and posters in this forum so base that we cannot have any type of discussion on a hot button issue without being reduced to name calling? 

I hope so, but I'm an eternal optimist.

So back on topic.  I think the answer to my OP is white guilt.  Correct?  They subconsciously feel less guilty about a white atrocity of they identify with feather indians by blood?  Even though only 5% of Americans are actually related to feather indians by blood and the rest subconsciously joined the less guilt club by believing mom, dad or uncle jerry that they are 1/X father indian.  This is why they don't question uncle jerry's clam that they're 1/X feather indian.  While it's perceived as "cool" in the minds of the false heritage white believers that they're part feather indian, behind the scenes psychologically it's because of guilt and its a way of disassociating themselves with the whites who committed genocide.

Feel guilty about history it if it makes you feel better, just don't attempt to drag the rest of us down your miserable outlook on white heritage.

Maybe if you find out you're 1/16th Native American this psychosis will go away. :shrug:

I made this thread to have a serious discussion about a race related cultural phenomenon not watch adults attack each other with ad hominums and turn the subject matter of this thread into something about them selves.

We're all adults here can we act like it while we participate in this thread?

Fact is I'm thankful that I was born in America and in this day and age.

I live better than many of the kings of old.

I don't approve of many of my countries policies and how they treat others in a lot of cases with global politics and policies and whatnot.

I do choose to remain thankful for what I have because I know that I have a lot of opportunity not available to others so I try not to take my good fortune for granted so much these days.

I do still love America and will until the day I die.

So I guess you kind of hit the nail on the headvwith your last post op.

Many whites probably claim native blood because it feels better than claiming relationship to a group of people capable of committing genocide.

I'm certainly not claiming anything like that.

I was simply making a statement of conjecture.

The fact is native Americans were at war with each other for who knows how many centuries before the Europeans showed up and started the eradication of their way of life.

Exactly. The Native Americans are no better than the white man because the Native Americans were murdering other Native Americans LONG before a white man EVER killed a native american. So feeling white guilt not only serves no purpose, but it is also false. White guilt is a lie.

Believe it or not, the majority of WASP's take pride in settling the US and the thought of their ancestors "committing genocide" really doesn't enter their minds.

They created this country from the ground up, if that involved fighting a war in order to accomplish that mission so be it.

Yes, there's a few people that feel some guilt about their history, but that's a very small minority of people that don't have a proper perspective on history.

I am of the opinion that you are correct in that assumption good sir.

Also, I believe the majority of the most heinous acts were carried out by the military and hired thugs.

I also do not believe that at the time the general populace was informed of the tactics employed by the military.

We have to remember that there was no internet and anyone who owened a newspaper would have found there shop burned down or blown up if they printed unfavorable things about certain groups or individuals.
