using rubbermaid with lid.. should i put it on how it supposed to or leave it off a bit so air can get in..

leave the lid on, fan when you can and keep the area as clean as possible.

Dude actually uses sleeve bearing computer fans mounted on each end of the fruiting chamber and only takes the lid off to mist the sides.

im gonna make a setup like that for my next grow id havta buy fans i just through all my old stripped down computers out a couple weeks ago.. lost like 5 or 6 working fans

The sleeve bearing fans are a bit more expensive but better with the humidity. Dude uses poly fill sprayed with lysol to cover the fans to help with any contam issues.

what method are u using to keep the humidity up?


i put window foam crap along the top of my rubbermaid and fliped the lid so there is a nice airtight seal, but then again i exchange the air constantly with a cool mist humidifier, and a computer fan, and i keep the humidity up with a ultrasonic humidifier. i also have holes melted in the sides with some air filter stuff taped over the holes.
