When the Rock got to the back, instead of beating Shane down. I saw them talking, sharing a drink of water. I was a distraught 12 year old and the world has been a cold place since.

Haha oh wow. That's a good story.  It's funny that you believe that it's real as a kid and when you find out its not it's like finding out santa clause isn't real.

I watched it when I was a kid and you got to admit some of the stuff they do is pretty crazy, like mankind getting choke slammed down through that cage and he also got thrown off of it I think.  And shit that Owen Hart died when he fell from his harness while being lowered down from the rafters.

Without a doubt.
It may all be scripted but what's in between is as raw as any real fight.

Mankind getting choke-slammed through the cage was one of the last WWF moments I still vividly remember.
If you get some time check out Mankind's self titled documentary on Netflix. (if you haven't already)

Made me appreciate wrestling all over again. Or at least, what it was.

I ll have to check that out.  I remember  reading his book when it came out awhile ago. I don't really remember anything about it, I just remember that I enjoyed it though.
