Hiding Internet Porn from GF

So I guess deleting the history isnt good enough. My girlfriend works in the same office as her company's network admin. I delete the history, and she still finds out where I've been on the internet and wont tell me how. I think she does it in my computer or something, I really have no idea. Any ideas computer nerds? By the way, I'm running windows XP and IE4

I tell mine to get the F**k out every couple of weeks over it, she never listens anyway, some days I lock the system down and allow her access to solitare if I check logs and she's been snooping.

You need to get window washer or evidence eliminater. Search for FOSI on goggle and find his apps page. He has a copy of window washer 5 on his site right now. Evidence eliminater is also good.

Yes, deleting history will not do it. temp internet files holds pics and images and all kinds of stuff you have looked at. She saw the gay aminal porn you were looking at. Registry tracks, CPL files. Too much to do manualy realy.

In the end you should also address privacy issues with your GF.

There's your answer buddy...you may delete your history on your options while internet page is open....but it still keeps it here....got any questions....

C:\Documents and Settings\Ross\Local Settings\History

1st: Copy & Paste...C:\Documents and Settings\
2nd: Choose the folder with your name (most likely), my other 2 choices in the folder is (Adminstrator & All Users), but my path for History is under my name
3rd: Finally Copy & Paste...Local Settings\History

Then select all and Delete...you'll get rid of all past History...if it's somewhere else....can't help ya...

Are you doing this while at work? Logs man logs, the network admin probably log every site everyone visits in the whole company - they do in mine. All they gotta do is put your network logon ID into the proxy/firewall and up comes a list of URLs. :wink:

I've been at my job for over almost 4 years
my boss has been here under a year

I have never asked her a question on how to do my job
because she dosen't know ANYTHING!!!
I tell her what I plan on dong and how to take care of things.

You have to delete the history AS WELL AS the temporary internet files and the cookies. That's all programs like internet washer do. Sometimes they delete downloaded program files and offline webpages but those don't typically reveal porn useage.

You can do all three from Internet Options in the control panel.

I accidentally found porn in my last boyfriends room, while we were together, it didn't bother me at all. Maybe if it was something disgusting like animal porn, or rape porn I'd be upset, but good old nudies are fine with me. I think a lot of girls are bothered by it because they're insecure, they think if their boyfriend "needs" to look at porn its because they're insufficient. Actually, finding the porn just gave me the idea of giving him pictures of me for christmas (since i'm clearly way hotter than the fake looking porn girl was) but then we broke up so those were never taken.

Chances are your girlfriend is just really insecure, the best way to deal with it would be to be clear that you're very attracted to her, and that you don't look at porn because she isn't enough for you (because she is) but because she can't always be around when you feel the need... :tongue:

If she is still snooping through your computer and getting mad at you after you've treid to reassure her that you love her, maybe its worth considering that she's too controlling and tell her its not ok.
