The part I can't deal with is that people would access your personal information. That's just plain wrong. Especially the locking you out of the server and then downloading everything. That's no more improvement or lacking in "Tyranny" than any other action than I have seen.

I'm not surprised he didn't want to work with you guys, if another admin used your password to say, lock you out of your admin account, you wouldn't feel like trusting too much in the future would you?

I appreciate the kind words Alien. Alien was the first guy to ever support me. Way back in '99 and 2000, when I first joined and started helping out in Mush. Cult., he supported me, and helped me become a moderator. He's been here longer than 90% of the people on this site.

I also wanted to mention that Thor is now a spore vendor (http://www.mycogrow.com). Do you guys really want someone who is a competing vendor with the advertisers here having a say in how the site is run? That was one of the first rules we made, not to let vendors have any control over things where they could use their power to further themselves.

To clarify, Thor is not a paying vendor to this community, he has no advertising rights here, nor will he ever (as long as he is even remotely connected to the administration).  With an equal say administrative panel, I find it hard to believe that an admin who doesn't even have the right to advertise here would be able to manipulate the site to his benefit.

Time for me to sleep - I have a final exam in 7 hours that I've not even started reviewing for yet.  I'll swing by in about 4 hours.  Keep the love people!  3D is a great guy and has done a lot here, so let's keep this thread about him and not about speculation as to how everyone is working against everyone else :crazy:

My God, can you be anymore melodramatic? Why exactly would one of us kick you off the message board for that post? You're only stating your opinion, which all of us have a right to do.

Granted, there is much bullshit being spread about, but I'm not going to get into a line-by-line debate, over a bunch of misinformation, and speculation, with a tiny, but vocal, minority. I am more concerned about this entire web-site.

I might add, that if 3D cared about this web-site (which he does) then he would get past his current, and temporary, personal issues with a few of the administrators, and would stay on -- as I have asked him to do numerous times now -- as an EQUAL member of this administration!

So I'm confused, Alien. Which one of us is supposed to ban you from the message board for that post? Because if it's me, it just isn't my style. Sorry... :smirk:

3d- Bro even thou we never really talked or anything.. youve brought me much love and infomation cuz of the shroomery.. ive have meet and made friends with a good amount of shroomerites.. this place means more to me than a message board.. This site is something buetiful, for all its quirks and nastyness it has a good heart.
and nobody can change that, because its not about any individual person, its about the comunity.

My my my, those reptillians living in the core of the Earth managed to do the same thing here as they do in government, religion, and everywhere else. The thing about power addictions is that they can never be quenched.... *sighs*

This is a great place. Spirituality and Philsophy kicks total ass. I'm not one of the ones behind the curtain, creating all the magic, but from the viewpoint of a person who comes here and soaks in the experience that this place provides, everything was fine as it was before. If we had a dictator, well, he wasn't killing people or projecting negativity on anyone. A service was provided and that service kicked fucking ass.

I think whatever is done should be done for the best of the Shroomery. Like I said, I don't know what goes on. I'd just like to ask that everyone who is involved and has power or is trying to obtain some keep a clear perspective that makes sure what needs to be done for the good of everyone is done.

We have people here that are keeping the knowledge of mycology being constantly advanced, we have people here that are exchanging ideas as to what this life really is, discussing collections of thoughts that could end up changing the world someday, we have artists and musicians who use this place to get quality feedback from other creative individuals, and we have people just looking for a place to hang out and shoot the shit with other people with a shared interest.

This place is a nexus. Ideas are developed, shared, and passed on here. We all share common ground here, even beyond the gift of life that everyone shares.

3DShroom, I can't say that I really know you, but thank you for doing the work that I couldn't do to offer a place such as this. I owe a lot to you, man. If you have to leave, man, I guess that is up to you. Tusen takk, man, and good luck with whatever you decide to pursue.  :thumbup:

We all know it is all about the :mushroom2:, after all. :grin:

it really is sad to see you go - though you were given the chance to be apart of the administration...it was your decision and i could understand why you wouldn't want to be with people who have "backstabbed" you. but as i said on IRC, this is a step ahead for everyone...you can start a new site and hopefully there won't be any "lack of communication" problems with the new administration.

you beat me to posting something very similar alien.... damn it!
but my sentaments are the same. i have been here 2 years now, and only know ythan from a few posts ABOUT him, and a few he made before the new templates was installed.. and most other admins have fell out along the way.
3D was the only consistant i have seen since i have been here. He IS the shroomery, the other admins past or present may not like to admit it, but that is the facts.

You know, when i was considering using ubbthread at the emporium, i spent a lot of time in their own forums, reading about upgrades, mods, etc. and what did i find? 3D was there, and there was no hiding his love and devotion about the shroomery

i guess it shows, because he has never left us.

it saddens me the shroomery is losing him, i think this is the gravest error they have made.

i also feel that with the devotion and love he has for the mushroom community, that his site will flourish, and one day be a leading force in the mycological communties.

3D..... i wish you well , may your god bless you and your endeavers.

3D. Kid. Today you are not in the game. The leauge does not need you any more. Thor. Great bussinesman. Took many ideas from Ralph. I appreciate your survival skills, but your intention of creating monopoly over mushroom bussiness is a disguisting idea. It hurts me pretty much. Off course, you still need otehr vendors, cause you do not want them start another site. So, keep them in the game, rising demands.

BTW, is that a reason why did that easy tech I offered to shroomery vanished? Is that a resaon why you still keep that MMGG and other ancient shit to be begginers tech? So you can sell the equipment to naive kids? Jesus.
