For sure.

If you did have an issue with anything else I have said I would gladly debate though.

I'm the type of person who loves debate, I'm also objective, so while I may never say what I believe as a person, I will gladly debate any issue, sometimes on one side of the debate, other times ill be debating for the opposing side....the point is to get people to think through issues very thoroughly.

no matter what views you have, you should constantly be challenging them, whats the point of holding views that cant be defended? Its an intellectual cop out.

Most people would rather side with views already in place, so they would rather say "I'm a democrat or republican" instead of actually going through the issues with a fine-tooth comb for themselves, they figure that someone else can generate and hold their views for them, and that this is an acceptable alternitive to thinking.

So I fully welcome people to challenge everything I say, but please be prepared to defend your views (however if you are unable to debate without getting your feelings hurt, or are the type of person to childishly and vindictively go after others who don't agree with them, than it may be a better idea to sit out of this one until you obtain some thicker skin and maturity.)

i remember taking a college class on Zoology where we talked about  something called the Population coefficient or something like that.

The math formula used area/population/resources as part of its calculation and was used to see if a particular species could be supported by a particular ecosystem.

Not sure what the Earths population coefficient is, but 7 billion people is a shit load.

I definitely dont agree with mass genecide in order to save the planet or whatever. That would be like hunting pengiuns because they have overpopulated an area and will run out of food soon.

it is an interesting thought experiment. Who would be chosen in that 10 million? Would there be global war, living vs the people scheduled to die?

Would the genetic pool be fucked forever, even with 10 million?

How would population control manifest in the future to prevent 7 billion people again?

Would giving birth go underground?

Would it be the start of the Matrix?

Imagine living in Kolkata, India, with a population density of over 24000 people per square kilometer.

For every square kilometer there are over twenty-four thousand people.

Imagine the entire planet getting up to that point.

As food starts to run out, cannibalism will rise.

Water will be like gold. People will be murdered for water filters.

O2 levels will drop, people will lose their minds due to oxygen starvation.

Trees will be gone - need the room for more housing.

CO2 levels will skyrocket; no trees, too many mouth-breathers.

Ocean acidification will burn out all submarine life.

And once the population naturally declines, the planet will be a wasteland so destroyed, nothing will be able to regenerate. Welcome to planet Venus II.

The sun will eventually grow bigger as it uses its main hydrogen fuel source, moving onto harder-to-burn helium. Mars will be the next planet in the habitable zone. And, as history will show, human Martians will destroy that planet as well.

And life in this solar system comes to a close.

What was the catalyst for all this? High fructose corn syrup, McDonalds pink slime burgers, and reality TV.

Ah chiggady check yourself before you wreck yourself.

I believe insects are the single greatest source of animal biomass.

:yeahthatsfunny:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Population_density

"The world's population is around 7 billion,[3] and Earth's total area (including land and water) is 510 million square kilometers (197 million square miles).[4] Therefore the worldwide human population density is around 7 billion รท 510 million = 13.7 per km2 (35 per sq. mile). If only the Earth's land area of 150 million km2 (58 million sq. miles) is taken into account, then human population density increases to 47 per km2 (120 per sq. mile). This includes all continental and island land area, including Antarctica. If Antarctica is also excluded, then population density rises to over 50 people per km2 (over 130 per sq. mile).[1]"

i think it might take awhile to hit that 24000 per sq. km milestone

Thank you for including Antarctica in all that. Sometimes I feel like everyone's forgotten about me down here.
