None of those services have any of the music I like let alone certain rare unreleased/live recordings. They dont even give you what you want with decent user interface for $10 a month. To fucking stream music!? Thats netfilx level money son. Even preimum spotify pandora whatever the fuck else every one ive tried seriously pissed me off alot even more than broken ass grooveshart did.

with todays technology, why the fuck would anyone listen to the radio? all they do is play the same songs over and over

modern radio is going to die eventually

The only radio I listen to is WUNH which is a non commercial college radio station. Radio suck sooo much worse than spotify or almost everything else.

but the radio def sucks way worse. legit i only listen to the radio for sports talk cuz boston has one of the best sports radio stations in the country. their shows are really good and entertaining

but for music? in my car i straight up only listen to soundcloud

Pandora has it uses. It helps you find new shit you didn't know you'd be in to.

Maybe consider just paying for a streaming service.  It is more than fair for unlimited music and almost infinite variety.


You know nothing about Spotify. Do some research on it. Artists are paid based on the percentage of all plays that they receive, not by which artist you listen to. You are giving most of the money you spend there to the very big names you say you are avoiding.

It allows the fatcats that already are rich to make more money (that they wouldn't otherwise) and to keep smaller bands on the service from generating any revenue. Really, it's stealing the revenue that all the obscure acts generate to some extent.
