One of the nicer 'sandwich' places I've been too was called 'Be'witched' located in Minneapolis. 

They had a beet burger that was a masterpiece extraordinaire, the seasonings and condiments really

brought everything together, so good..so. so good.

penara bread has some good sammiches, and the bread they use is way better than most place (IMO, i like bread with hard chewy crust)

plus they come with soup, an extra piece of bread, and butter for the bread

I could go to subway today, not in the mood to make lunch.  Or I could just walk down the street to the Halal cart and get some lamb over rice for 6$.

but if you want a good sub, you gotta go to local pizza/sub places. usually pretty dank, and loaded too

Subway is bland as all hell. All the sandwich's taste alike.

Quiznos is much better.

But as everyone else has said, any local shop will be better than both combined.

Quiznos is 1000x better than subway, the bread doesn't even compare.
The lobster sandwich however is crap. Just tastes like imitation crab but not even as good.
