Anybody else partnered up with a twin?

If so, how do you like it? Any funny stories about mixing them up or insight on the experience in general?

My partner is an identical twin and it definitely comes with unique circumstances. If they're conversing in a different room, I usually need context to know which voice is whose. I also wonder what people think when the three of us go out together. They probably just think oh, it's some girl with her boyfriend and twin, but some people probably make little jokes about it. I also wonder about our casual acquaintances. Some of them know my partner, but not her twin or vice versa. I wonder if any of them get confused if, for instance, they see my partner and I out on a date, but they think it's her twin out with a new man, :lol:.

Then there's the whole dynamic of sharing my partner with her twin, because in a way, they are life long partners themselves. Sometimes I feel like I'm trying to impress a third parent because I value her twin's opinion so much. It's a very interesting dynamic, but I like it a lot. I think that twins are some of the luckiest people around and I feel very lucky to be partnered up with one.

I've thought about all this in the past but have no experience with it. One of my closest friends is a twin and his brother is an asshole. They still love each other, but it's a weird relationship. I agree that twins are lucky and it's pretty cool that your fiancé has an identical one. I wonder if its awkward for the sister being around you, knowing that you know what she looks like naked. But they probably get over that at a young age.

I did. They'd often try to trick me and the guy dating the other twin. However, there were tells.

They could easily trick me over the phone or in separate rooms, but not in person. My girl has tell-tale tattoos.
