Yesterday came the news that the makers of the beloved HBO series are booking 150 IMAX theaters nationwide in advance of the April premiere of the fifth season. The one-week theatrical engagement starts January 23. At these screenings, you'll be able to re-experience the final two episodes from the prior season (including the action-packed Neil Marshall-directed "The Watchers on the Wall), as well as take an exclusive taste of the upcoming run. The significance of an IMAX engagement for a TV program (the first ever) is yet to be determined, but Game of Thrones certainly lends itself to the experiment.
