Everything OOM's now...
They made it this way on purpose, and removed most mana regen skills for all classes.

Disc priests have pretty much always been OP, at least in PvP. And freeze mages

And yeah OOM, because they are trying to make it more like vanilla, when it took actual skill and managing your combat rotations. It was stupid in the xpacs when it was infinite mana faceroll ezmode.
That's why I quit the game for good, they catered it to the casual scrubs too much. Used to be in a top 10 guild in vanilla and BC, sold my toon for 5k and said good riddance.
Guild tried to suck me back in multiple times and I did for Wrath, said fuck this shit, got sucked back in for Cata.. said fuck this shit. Each time it just got worse.
They even tried to suck me back now, saying oh man it's so much like vanilla.... PSSSH. Unless they bring back level 60 Naxx and remove half the new skills it will never be like vanilla, game has changed way too much.
It's a finely polished game that's for sure... and I'm sure it's virtual heroin.. but it won't ever achieve that level of greatness again IMO

The thing is if you're increasing the difficulty of the overall game then you can't grant everyone an instant level 90.

You have no idea how many fucking scrubs I have to heal in instances that just STAND in shit because they've never seen it before. Old school players understand one basic concept: If it hurts FUCKING MOVE, then adapt so you're not getting hurt anymore. These new guys just fucking stand in shit hittign 1-2-1-2-1 "Omg proc" 3 1-2-1 "Dead",

"wtf healer?"
"Why were you standing in the fucking fire?"

It's infuriating.

Here's a couple kickback videos when I used to raid

Think this was the worldwide 20th? kill of KJ.. sold my toon shortly after this when our guild burned out


Muru pre-nerf kill, world 10th. This fight was fucking HARD AS FUCK pre nerf.. we wiped to it like 4 hours a day every day for like 2-3 weeks straight
Required perfect performance from every single person in the raid. If ONE person made a single mistake.. wipe.


The only thing that came close to that level of difficulty was Naxx/AQ40 in vanilla.. trying to track down some of those videos

I've been in GREAT guilds, pulling off like like 2nd server downing of bosses and stuff but  for some reason every last one of them burns right out for some reason. If it isn't the in-fighting then people are bored with the game and just stop logging on or someone doesn't get a roll and leaves and the void is never truly filled.

I fucking remember this shit oh my god. Level 60 raids were intense as fuck, what was that 50 man or 100 man? I forget but I remember my computer would crash when AOEs happened until I upgraded :lol:

Literally healing just fine and all of a sudden AOE and I'm frozen in place for 15 seconds. Another AOE and my comp is down for the count.

I was in Vodka in Vanilla (top 10 worldwide guild).. then switch servers and joined Momentum in the middle of Naxx..
I think only like .01% of guilds even completed Naxx before TBC came out... like 15 guilds or some shit..
Momentum raided hard, but then everyone burned out after we cleared Sunwell and had it on farm status.. waiting for Wrath to come out.. everyone was disappointed with how PvE was looking in Wrath and pretty much half the guild quit.
That's when I sold.. which was perfect timing.. 2 months later the gear was obsolete.. had dual warglaives.. full T6.. pretty much every achievement, mount and every reputation fully exalted, plus like 60k gold, which back then was a fucking absurd amount.
I played the shit out of that game since Beta... for almost 5 years. I had such an absurd amount of /played time...
We also PvPed like crazy between raids, I had rank 13? (Grand Marshall) as well

And all the high end level 60 raids in Vanilla were 40 man.

That's the one. Jeeze man, couldn't for the life of me. I miss PvP titles :/, kind of dumb to take them away wasn't it? Now I see Grand Marshalls and Sergeants and shit and I'm jealous. I lost my original account a LONG time ago, then got another one, quit, gave it to a friend and he got it banned, then got another, quit, now I can't remember the SQA or the first and last name (I was a kid so I put whatever and didn't think it was important) so Blizz doesn't believe I own the account, now I have this one and the game is fun again...

Except for no one knowing anything about shit and being level 100. I don't even ask what's going to happen in fights, I just heal it because it's the same recycled mechanics over and over and over.

Don't stand in that,
He's casting something big, stand over there,
He's targeting you, move,
You have something under your feet, move,
He's casting an ability in your direction, move.

Come on guys.

:lol: That's why I avoided pick up groups like the plague. I only played with people in my guild who I knew were pros. Half the people playing the game were faceroll retards

Like damn man,

You're right though it did lose a lot of it's finesse. In WOTLK I was overpowered and overgeared as fuck and I've noticed I can't heal the same way I used to (which is just overheal like a bitch and bank on regen) so there's that but they made it so I can't get powerful, not so the game is more difficult.

Defeats the purpose but we'll see how it goes. Got another 6 months.

I quit the game over it.... A month of wiping due to 75% of the time to some random motherfucker disconnecting, plus my job as an spriest was to just stand there and soak the boss and mass dispel darkness.  I kind of wish there was a buy to play, no leveling WoW arena game though, where I could casually play 10 games of 3v3 without the rest of the hassle that comes with WoW.

Basically I just want the Arena Pass version of the game with separate servers where you are granted max level characters, have all the gear, enchants, gems to choose from etc....

I don't want to be arsed with playing the actual game in any way, shape, or manner.

Well, you can buy the xpac right now and get a free lvl 90...:shrug2:

I doubt they ever introduce something quite like that...
The whole idea is to get you to spend time in the game, thus making them more $$$.

They do actually, but it's only for a season every now and again and I think and costs an extra $20 on top of the monthly.
