My dog Wrigley just died in October. He was my best friend and there is still a HUGE hole in this family

My dad is looking at Border Terrier puppies but they are $1,500 a piece (ouch)

With a home so used to having a dog I find it CRITICAL that we find a new dog, and fast

Here is my former dog Wrigley, he was a mix of an Australian Cattle Dog with some Fox Terrier in him

i do not have a picture of my dog this time. but this is my favorite thread. i like dogs the most out of everything

wrigley looks like an awesome dog. ive also heard that those cattle dogs are really smart too

He's my best friend. :smile:
I work in a family owned wood shop. He hangs up front with the girls all day.
We are mainly a shipping business, not too much walk in business, so that helps, too.
He's super chill though.

Her'smy dog. She's got a tumor in her nose and she's doing chemo... She has a bald heead now thanksto it. She doesnt have to many years left :frown:....

Sorry about your loss.

Go adopt one at a shelter unless you really need a well bread dog for work. petfinder.com is is pretty good.

Found him at a shelter.
We almost didn't go as there where no dogs that really interested us breed wise. Now hearing that, another good reason to just check out a shelter once and a while as he was listed as a Golden Retriever, which he is clearly not.

Best dog I have ever known, every one loves him since he behaves like a saint. Granted the only down side is he gets car sick, so on windy roads he vomits. Just have to learn to adapt, and know his triggers when riding in the vomit comet.

We usually turn the TV on to watch local news and it just stays on for a while. Seems to be when Jeopardy starts, he knows it's time for a treat. I mean it is about 3 hours after his dinner. But he sure gets goofy and exited for jeoprdy. Poeple think he his a puppy, but he is about 5 years old. He just knows how to wag that butt and pretend he is a kid. Me though, I know is real story, he doesn't like being outside away from his family, and he sleeps as much as the cats do.

Right now he is watching out the window waiting for "mom" to come home. He knows the sound of her car, but he also knows, it should just be any time now.

Balou, the bernese mountain dog!

He is 1½ years old and already huge. He's also a fur-factory that sheds all year 'round.

But he's a lovable doggie that loves to be pet and cuddled :smile: He's also very strong, especially when playing. These dogs were bred to pull carts!
