Seriously, though, I think it's a terrible idea to go to College pointedly with vocational goals in mind, even though that's what most people try to do. College should be a garden of the mind, where you try as many things as possible and pursue everything that sticks. After a few years of this, you'll have a better idea of what you do, or especially don't, want to be doing, and will have by then gotten the full personal enrichment benefit of all those opportunities.
Of course, I'm not sure what fiscal sense any of that makes. It's a shame we have leaders more interested in buying one drone, or giving one more corporate campaign doner a massive tax break (theft from public coffers) than investing in full ride scholarships for several of America's youth. Immoral, even. Oh well, it'll keep happening until people realize the status quo can be incinerated with a few months of For Reals civil unrest.
