Brake pads online.
    #20444131 -

Hey!:tongue2: Im wondering if any of you guys could help me out. I need to replace the back brake pads on my 2005 Corolla CE soon, im going to do them myself, but I wanted to see if you guys could reccomend me a product and or a website to get them from, in Canada!

I might buy front pads too, but im not sure what prices are like at all for them, if I can find them localally I might just pick them up, but I can't see them being to cheap here in Edmonton.

Thanks!

Buy the cheap ones. The expensive ones eat your rotors and here in the state's pads are cheaper in person costing around $20 for the front set of four pads and around $20 for the rear set.
Plus miscellaneous other things plus tax runs about $50 or $60.

Front pads die first and is the rear have pads or shoes?

Make sure you put grease on the pads.

Otherwise, they'll rub together and make a loud noise.

He means the back of the pads where they make contact with the caliper, NOT THE FRONT that makes contact with the rotor!!

You'll need a caliper piston compressing tool that you should be able to rent a a local auto parts chain store.

Make sure to properly bed you're pads after install and clean you're rotors as well if you're not replacing them
