Yes, radiohead is the best alternative band out right now (still making albums and touring)IMO.

Saw Radiohead a couple years back at Coachella. They fucking killed it. Up to then, it was the best performance I had seen at a live show, hands down, no questions asked. Since then, I've only seen one other act that I could say was better by a longshot.

This Is It was original and cool, I loved that album. After that they made the two cd's of the same song; and Angles was pretty lame IMO.

Idk what would get put in the alternative section, but if Radiohead or Nirvana were in there they would blow the Strokes out.

Nirvana is probably one of the most overhyped bands ever. Not that they aren't good though.
