I hold the stance that I do not know. If it has not been proven by science yet, then it does not exist.

Perhaps that is a shallow point of view. But it is a view that I prefer.

I'd rather be aware of the unknown than focus on what's obvious.

False, if it actually exists, then it can be explained scientifically. That is how the scientific method works. Although this statement is popular, it is ignorant of what the very concept of science is.

I dont believe in ghosts but i believe in another dimension. I believe because unlike church i dont need faith to see my other dimention a lil dmt will show you my religion lol

Not what I meant, I was wondering why you brought it up. It sounded like you were trying to disprove what I said by mentioning it, which didn't seem right. I guess I was less than clear.

I must be pretty tired. When I first read thread title I thought it said physics and thought......... Yeah, I believe in physics...

I used to use the i-ching for stuff, but it was more to critically think about the problem.

There are a lot of coincidences though where it seems the future has been told. Mark Twain thought he was psychic. I think he foretold his own death, and had a dream about how his younger brother would die. Also Edgar Allen Poe had a story that was strangely similar to a real situation.

I believe in ghosts but not psychics. I do think sometimes people can have a premonition about the future but not by reading tarot cards. I don't think it can be done on demand but I do believe such a phenomenon exists.

my wife had a psychic come to our house to do a group reading. She asked if anyone had lost a baby recently... nope, no one had so she moved on.

Later in the night she asked again... "look, there is this baby and he wants to tell him mom that he is ok" she is not here but one of you knows her.

My friend and his wife lost their baby boy a few months before the reading. Mother had a difficult pregnancy and baby was premature. They lost him after 6 months in the hospital, he never went home. Needless to say they were pretty mess up.

My wife realized this the second time and called my friends wife. The psychic knew some details that I could not explain.

There were only 5 women in the reading so that is a pretty random thing to just blurt out if you are cold reading the room. Especially coming back to it once it was dismissed.

The psychic did not know who was coming to the reading prior, and was not a facebook friend of my wife. and specifically said boy as well not just baby.

Like I said before, I'm on the fence but can't totally dimiss everything I can't explain.

Couldn't science be fundamentally flawed to measure everything there is?
Everything there is. Our senses are limited so we make methods and machines
to enhance what we got. Fantasy becomes a real thing when it's created
on film and art. Then you can get out your yard stick.

You should do some research on ppl who have admitted to being fakes. They are fantastic at this stuff

I've had convincing psychic experiences while on psychedelics, specifically involving remote viewing.  To what extent any given person claiming to be psychic is good at what they do, I can't tell you ahead of time.  As far as scientific evidence, the research on the subject shows very different results from what a lot of people think it does:

Proof and reason are for dull people who lack imagination. If you don't restrict yourself to the possible than your imagination is the limit and life is a whole lot more fun.
