My summer starts in 2 weeks and I am planning on getting a case of European grade medical nitrous

What do you guys pay for nitrous usually? I don't know any hookups for tanks really, I have heard of some but nothing I could get my hands on probably. Plus without my own tank that option is harder. I was wondering how people on here felt about 200$ for 600 8~ gram chargers? That is generally the standard case price and this brand is the best nitrous i have ever done so it is worth the extra price. I did the math at one point and I believe it averages out to about 11~ pounds of nitrous for 200$ in chargers. I am only paying for like a half or a quarter of them so I don't think it is to bad. Any input?

i'm considering doing a small bulk order from an online place for next time. i don't buy nitrous that often but it's just too damn high at the local shops.

A box of 24 here is around $10.  Most places it is $15.  WTF is "Eurpean grade" anyway?  hahaha  I used to fill a 20lb tank for like $150-250 if I remember right, without the cost of the shell.  My friend orders of cases of ISI's for relatively cheap on ebay, and it ships pretty fast.

To me, n2o is only a novel thing.
I did it one weekend and then the weekend after and that's it.
I have no urge to do it again.

It is what it is, which is a really short high that is semi-enjoyable.

Well the way I think about it America has horrible food standards and probably not the best medical standards, therefor nitrous from places with higher standards generally produce better nitrous. The place I am talking about has really nice standards, I am having trouble finding the page with the info I am looking for but basically it states that though they sell "food grade nitrous" their product passes Euro medical regulations then they go on and list all their extra cleaning procedures including steam cleaning and random inspections via cutting them open for examination.

The only reason I care is because since I mainly use chargers I want to find the cleanest ones. The ones I had been buying in town turned out to leave a residue in my friends brand new cream dispenser. I think the company was bought out as years ago I tried some of their chargers after using a medical tank at a festival and it was exactly the same. Recently I got some and they seemed not as good as I had remembered but my friend proved it.

:nitrous:  That purewhip brand has always been my standard as far as nitrous goes.  If it's on the shelf for a few dollars more I'm buying it.  The boxes with porno girls on the front usually have shitty nitrous I've found.  Purewhip FTW!

Fuck, how much does it cost to ship them from over there?  That must be super expensive.  Just get ISI's here... they are very high quality.  Most others leave a little residue.  You can even put a filter inside the dispenser and it won't leave any if you're that worried.  I personally don't think it is that bad for you unless you are doing a ton of them.

And American Medical standards may be high but we all know the FDA is full of shit and our food standards could be better. Most chargers are food grade and that is what I am mainly talking about. I was just stating that the brand I intend to purchase pass Euro medical regulations on their site which I find a bonus. Especially since it is marketed as "food grade".

I love nitro. Always makes me feel like Dennis Hopper in "Blue Velvet".

But I'm going to wait until I can get my hands on a big ol' canister of the stuff, not the little poppers they sell in shops. Got a lot of people who need homemade whipped cream, of course.

How does that work anyway?  It's awesome that people in the Northeast have options to just go pick a tank up.  But for people down in the south it's not nearly that easy. 
Maybe I'm missing something.

There are a few places you can fill up a tank in the South.  Most of the time they are corrupt auto shops. From what I understand, there are 2 hoses that they use and they just pull one of them off that has the sulfur in it.  Other times it is through knowing a dentist or doctor and they will just straight up sell the tank if it is medical grade.  Some people have licenses that can send your tank in to get it filled or trade out straight up with a legit supply company.

Hardly Northeast bro, I'm in California! There are plenty of ways to get N20 legally. It's perfectly legitimate to call up an industrial gas supplier and ask for a tank of the stuff. Plenty of uses aside from recreational, like making whipped cream. It costs a pretty penny, but that is mostly for the equipment.

I know a couple of guys who got dentist stationary and bought a canister from a medical supply place. A lot of options for those with the time and money to get their hands on the gas.

I have an 80lb tank sitting over at a friend's house and he wants to fill it.  For some reason I think that would be super hard to get a legit line on, LOL.  80lbs is massive, it's about as tall as me and super heavy to carry.  Something funny???

Lol, you might be able to get away with that for like a single 20lb with the proper documentation, but I doubt that would fly for an 80lb.  I know that if you went to a chemical supply house down here in FL they want to see business documents beyond letterhead.
