grinding HBWR seeds

do you need a coffee grinder for this? Can they be just kind of gently smashed with a hammer? When mixing smashed seeds with lime juice, do you not swallow the seeds, just the liquid, or chew the seeds but spit out after because I've heard it decribed a couple different ways?

Smash the ever-living shit out of it with a hammer until you have a fine off-white/brownish powder. You can put it inside of a coke envelope before you hammer on it to make sure the powder doesn't go everywhere. The only reason you'd mix it with lime juice is if you were planning on straining out the seed matter (as it acts as a catalyst for alkaloid extraction). You can just eat the powder too...I've never had any ill effects from doing so.
