Re: LNC of the fucking millenium right here: Do you ever get the feeling like... [Re: ilus]

EDC NY was pretty awesome, mostly because of bassnectar,
but I still had a good time there besides just for him, I mean it's EDC.
It just seemed like they threw it together a little bit, which makes since.
EDC Vegas is their main attraction so that's where they will spend the most time and money making sure it's super cool.
It was mostly just for them to make a quick buck.
Which I was fine with, because a lot for my reasoning going out there was for the art museums anyways and EDC was just a plus.

And the first two days of the four will be in Aspen, CO at the Belly up, which has an occupancy size of only 450.
It's going to be such a small and intimate crowd these first two days, it's going to be so fucking insane.
Then the third and fourth days are at Red Rocks which will be equally as amazing in its own way.
Red Rocks in no doubt mecca for bassheads and Lorin no doubt plays his best sets there.
Not to mention the place is fucking beautiful.

I remember seeing him play between STS9 sets at Red Rocks many years ago when he wasn't that big yet and I was pretty blown away.  You'll have a blast!  I'm a bit excited for EDC Orlando this year, the lineup looks way way better than previous years for the type of stuff I'm into.  I might try to work it, my friends were bartending there and came home with maddddd money for 1 nights work.  They made really really good tips.

@illustrain
Oh fuck ya,
yah he gained a lot of publicity back around '07 through the jam band scene, most specifically the disco biscuits.
I played between sets a lot for them like you are saying, here's a fun example I'm just by chance currently listening to.

Gotta love that old school vibe.

And ya, I have been to EDC Orlando in the past and it was pretty fun, I'm pretty sure it was the first year the year I went.
I went to 4 EDCs that year and I remember it being one of the better ones,
granted, I thinking it might have been the first one of the year.

@Rhyzohunter

Thank you :smile:
