Any of ya'll ever caught these folks live? I'm listenin' to some of their shit on youtube, sounds like it has no soul. No depth/emotion.

But then again, it kind of reminds me of kung fu and those guys kick-ass live.


either way, these disco dudes are headlining a fest im goin to this summer

been to their festival 4 times, caught em a few times (forced into it) and the only time i kiiiinda enjoyed myself i was rocked on K

I've met a couple of their self-proclaimed fans at other shows, one in particular struck me as particularly odd.

I only hope that the rest are similar.

But, I don't really think that's gonna be true.

There was some chick at a recent show who said she was a huge fan of 'em. She gave me this like really really eerie sort of vibe


I kind of hope the majority of the fans are weird as fuck like that. It would be like stepping into another dimension or something.

But at the same time, I really kind of don't hope that happens

Disco biscuits people are weird. Their music is boring to me. They need a real vocalist or none at all. They are pretty fun to see live though.

Most people in the jam band community dislike them, I personally think they are amazing live when they are on.  Wish they played more, but better to see them a few times a year than they break up.  There is a lot of there shit on PT Bisco if you want some recommendations.  Not a good forum though to chat, most jaded group of people I've ever encountered there.

All my Biscuits experience have been basically musical blue balls.  Huge buildup the whole show with absolutely no payoff or release.  At all.  I've seen them in pretty much every state of mind and never got into it at all.  I have a few friends who are big fans who are cool, but the majority of their fanbase is awful.

Speaking of Kung Fu, Kung Fu is a sick band.  I've seen them live 4 or 5 times.  Me and my group of friends love them along with the band Dopapod.  Great music.

Kung Fu is great.  They did a Stevie Wonder tribute down here that was off the chain.  Dopapod is always a blast too.
