Should I see The Disco Biscuits with Ichisan?

So I heard concerts are fun to go and social and shit (I've never been to one). So do you guys think I should go to The Disco Biscuits with Ichisan in Boston on Oct 29th? Would it be stupid if I go alone? Or should I wait to see Dark star orchestra in boston in mid November?

Yes. I don't even know much about the disco biscuits but usually going to a show is better than not doing so. Even if its not something you'd usually check out

Disco biscuits is fucking awesome....

I'm going to go see them at Camp Bisco next year. Disco Biscuits own and host Camp Bisco every year so if you want to see them at their very best go to Bisco. Best festival on planet earth. Bisco is just a giant k-hole and everyone is fucked up

They are worth the money even if they put on a mediocre set, which isn't really a rarity.  I would go to see them on Halloween but I'd rather see the New Deal in NYC.

I'm not a fan of the Disco Biscuits at all. Sure it'd be fun though

Definitely don't miss the Darkstar Orchestra show though

I wouldn't go real far out of my way to see the Biscuits, but they're alright and I would see them if they were playing within an hour away from my or so. They really need to do something about their vocals.

DSO are awesome tho!

I might see you at that show man, but maybe not. Boston is usually pretty packed, and the last time I went to a show up there I got lost in the streets at 1am on acid by myself in the freezing cold with a dead cell phone looking for my car. But, that was at the Paradise Rock Club, and the House of Blues seems to have more parking areas around it.

I personally wouldn't put money into a Disco Biscuits show, but to each their own.
If it's one or the other, wait it out for DSO.
DSO is some truly unbelievable stuff, I'll be seeing em on Thursday :sun:

DSO isn't worth paying to see IMO.  They might be a lot of fun, but they are still a cover band.  One that costs way too much.  At least the Biscuits play their own music even if their vocals suck and their guitar player is a clown shoe.  Also last few DSO shows I've seen were pretty weak.

There are probably 20-30 GD cover acts in my area that I can see for free.  There are GD festivals all over the place every other weekend over the summer.  I love seeing their music, I just don't like paying that much money out of principle.  I'd rather support original music.
