hmmm. im a bit confused about this job offer posting. Says they are legally selling hemp in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. "Industrial Hemp Is Back My Friends"

It's not legal anywhere on a Federal level.

That ad looks pretty sketchy to me and doesn't make much sense. They are talking about selling products that only contain CBD. While CBD isn't illegal, you need to illegally grow a plant in order to extract CBD.

Kind of a catch 22 thing there ya know? Here in Florida there is a bill being proposed in November to legalize a strain called "Charlotte's Web." It's a very high CBD and very low THC containing cannabis strain.

Also if the law passes, you will only be allowed to grow and/or buy buds or products from this strain with a pretty strict prescription. You have to suffer from epilepsy or HIV or a few other conditions I can't remember right now.

oh, i think i know what theyre doing..  They are taking advantage of states with medical/ recreational use of marijuana to legally grow hemp and export it to other states.. i think.

"Walk into many retail and grocery stores and you will find hemp protein powder, hemp seeds, hemp clothing, and hemp oil." very true. i find hemp products in the protein isle at the local grocery store

Hemp was never illegal, growing hemp is illegal. They're probably growing it in a legal state (like Colorado) and selling the (never illegal in the first place) products everywhere.

You have no idea what you are talking about. CBD is a schedule 1 substance. Food products based from hemp oil are not. CBD can still be extracted from Hemp, you do not need to grow medicinal cannabis to get cbd, although you will get better concentrations.

There is a company based out of california that sells and distributes tinctures and hemp based oil products. When i ordered my tincture bottle with 100mg of CBD suspended, it shipped out of Osprey, florida.

Basically how they get around it is this- they get hemp grown out of the country and take the product, process and refine it down to a paste which they then extract oils which contain concentrations of CBD. The FDA considers products from hemp oil that contain less than 1% THC to be "food-based" and therefore not regulated. Im sure this is how people are also able to sell shampoo made from hemp oil.

Hemp and hemp products are legal in the US, but not legal to grow under federal law. Some states allow hemp growing on the state level, but have not started doing so because of Federal Law.
Most of the hemp we get is imported from Canada.

Kind of fucking ridiculous because during WW2 they encouraged all farmers to grow hemp.
Prior to prohibition it was the number one cash crop in the world, since it can be used for just about fucking anything.
But it was banned along with marijuana, because people are fucking stupid. But mainly because the chemical and textile companies couldn't compete with hemp.
