Again.. first, here are some pictures:
This is the biggest one I found... the cap is 3,5cm wide and it's fully open.. almost flat... on the rest of the mushrooms the caps are are between 1cm and 2cm wide and they are more conical.
Spore print:
Really sticky:
As a little dryer:
I found these mushrooms from edge of a grassy horse field near some pine trees.. all the mushrooms were inside 30cm x 30cm area. The caps were very sticky/slimey. Their height is between 7-10cm. They smell like champignon and/or chanterelle. To me they really look like P. Semilanceatas but few of them had the cap almost fully open... whitch is not typical for P. Semilanceatas as far as I know. And some of those nipples are quite big... not so sharp.
So what do you people think... are these P. Semilanceatas?

Ok... good! But if Mjshroomer would still confirm this I?d be 100% satisfied.
Oh... one (weird?) thing I noticed... UK Semilanceatas seem to have thicker stems... is that how it should be? :

sweet christ man what kinda camera are you using?? Those pictures are absolutly crystal clear!!! You should attempt some pictures of them out in the field...if you could maintain the same clarity you will be a legend. Great work man

papayafuzz: i agree. the quality of your pictures s smething i'd like to see more often. i'm sure they are semies aswell, but i notice that the specimen in the top right of the first pic seems to be more broadly expanded than i though semies where capable of being. it may be the angle.
-------------------- Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

If there was a shroomery photography hall of fame. These would be in it. Can you shoot some from the field? And what camera is that?

Hey... thank you people... ...I can try to take some field shots if I still find more mushrooms. The camera is Nikon CoolPix 995... but I also have adjusted the photos in Photoshop... I always sharpen my pictures a bit (with Unsharp Mask)... also quite often 'Auto Levels' helps a lot (it corrects contrast and color balance). Oh.. and today I found some more P. Semilanceatas at near the same spot..... here's a pic: I wonder what mushroom that one in the right bottom corner is? I met a guy in a field one day and he said that there are mushrooms that are called 'scull mushrooms' and they look like Semilanceatas and are poisonous... maybe this is it? Quite frightening how similar it is.

In my opinion the mushroom in the right bottom corner IS P. semilanceata. They seem to come in a variety of forms, and that's just one of the many that I've seen. Over the years I have picked many Liberty Caps that differ from the stereotypical nipple/bell shape, and after time you come to know this speices in all its different guises. I have never heard of a "skull mushroom", and I think it is a myth that there are poisonous look-a-likes to P.semilanceata. (of course always get positive ID before consuming).

I remember reading a russian book about mushrooms and there was one psilocybe mushroom that looks exactly like the one you point on the las pic. It had psilocin and psilocybin I think and it was psychoactive. It was called something like 'strange psilocybe'. If you are in UK that in is quite possible you picked that mushroom, as the weather conditions are similar to russian. Also, I did find some mushrooms that look like that 2 years ago, but didnt consume them. Peace
