Yes, all the people that I work out with know that I am on prohormones. I don't keep it a secret. I'm not one of those people that claims to be "all-natural," I tell it like how it is.

Especially to the women, a lot of them say that they don't want to be as "stacked" as me but simply want to be more "toned." I tell them if you aren't on gear and eating like crazy, you don't ever have to worry about looking like me, plain and simple, lol.

When you went to the competition are you on the smaller side or builders? I can ask in PM so not to clutter or derail this further.


I entered in an amateur fitness competition so most of the women were around my size. Some were bigger, some were smaller. I've been working out for about a year, and I've done 3 very short 1-2 month cycles (2 of them being prohormones) during that 1 year.

Yeah.... $2,000 in Minnesota is like the equivalent of $4,000 in California. I'd be perfectly fine with $4,000 a month if I was doing something that I loved as a career.

$2,000 in California is probably equivalent to $700 in Minnesota, try making a living off that while paying off a car, insurance, medical bills, cell phone, groceries, and all the other monthly crap normal adults pay for.

Crystal, baby, don't let the haters get you down (i figure you probably don't anyway). if you want me to remove negative comments i will, but i feel like you have a thicker skin than that. however, if there is something that bothers you, please let me or bal or another mod of the forum know so we can take care of it.

Never would I claim to be a expert - however its IMO that you're extending down a little too far (nearly under the bar) in the tricep video, seemingly putting stress on the shoulder - I have permanent shoulder joint injuries that didn't surface until thousands of reps later - seeing your rotation just prior to the extension makes me cringe a little inside. Just be careful, having a yoked 20s and a limited ROM for the rest of your time on earth sucks a little.

As for anyone who takes umbrage with you - its baseless. Their comments tell more about their insecurity than it does about your ego. You look solid, behave honestly, and appear confident - that can shake the fragile minds of young men.

I noticed that as well, I injured my right shoulder in a Rugby Union match when I was a teen and the rehab was pretty hellacious. Ever since I've had trouble with it when I worked out, it's not something you want to deal with. Especially if there's something in the technique that can be fixed
