NIN
    #19484622 -

I was never into them...

Bought their album "Downward Spiral" just cause of the song "Hurt" and that whole album is fucking awesome! :awesome:

I want to venture into another cd by them.
Any recommendations?

I do like his music tho...

I guess I should explain.  I have met him.  There was this kid in my town that use to claim to know him. I was not listening until one day there was a limo outside his house. Perplexed we stopped to check it out. And who steps out yep you guessed it.  He has scars all over his arms from mutilation, burns etc. Nice guy tho other then the liking 14 year old boys. Really soft spoken and shy. I was 17 at the time so this was wayyy back in 1997.....

If you ever get a chance to, go see them live. It was fucking mind blowing both in the lightshow and the actual music itself. Check out some of the EP stuff like Broken too. Or Further Down the Spiral.

Almost let a pickup truck nearly pass us by
So we jumped right in and the driver grinned as he dropped us up the road
And we looked at the swim and we jumped right in not to mention fishing poles
Ohhh the water...
Oh ohh the water...
Oh the water...
I dont care if it rains all day."

Downward spiral was my favorite album as a kid, in the 6th grade they let us bring in a CD to class, we were allowed to share 1 song. The first kid put on backstreet boys and I put on this

Dude, you're SO full of shit it's not even funny.

Sure, absolute height-of-his-fame 1997 Trent Reznor arrived in a small town in a fucking limousine to screw a 14 year old boy.

Sounds completely legit.

Why wouldn't he just let them backstage to his concerts, where he would have had full access to countless young fanboys, and better yet wouldn't have to pull up in front of their parents' house in a fucking limousine?

That doesn't even almost make sense.

Repitoire89, that is bad fucking ass. I'm guessing the backstreet boys kid defecated in his pants at the shear awesomeness.

I'm inclined to side with CidneyIndole, that story sounds pretty made up.

Thanks man, pretty proud of my hooligan days. Was expelled from all the schools in town and labelled a terrorist by the local kids by 12 years old

I saw him last year in ATL. The show was awesome even though, paying $150.00 per ticket, we were almost in the seats to the extreme left and couldn't really see the stage. Came in during 'copy of a copy', which was totally tits.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Wow that must have been awesome. I was really wanting to be down on the floor. Hey at least I probably got high from all the pot smoke floating around inside phillips arena! It reeked of weed in that place it was crazy!

Shit I wish I could have gotten onto the floor too, it was insane. I went last year at the TD Garden and aside from the ticket prices I had a great time. Honestly I despise hesitation marks for the most part but the whole show was excellent, the effects where things looked 3-D were the coolest onstage effects I've witnessed. On the closing chords of hurt there's an image of someone being shot in the head, stuck with me for awhile.
