Too much melatonin makes me extremely drowsy in the morning to where its hard to wake up, I think I'm sensitive to it though I only need like half a 2mg pill. I agree it allows you to remember the dream easier which is why it appears so vivid.

Yep! Since dreams can be so entertaining I always look forward to a good night's sleep!

I would agree. I have taken some large doses of melatonin as well and my dreams were drastically enhanced. Like you said the only side effect I have noticed is being really drowsy the following morning.

That bed is just too comfortable to get out of.

And while you're drowsy and comfortable why not recall the crazy dream you just had.

Exactly. Whenever I would take a large dose of melatonin I would have a hard time getting out of bed, I would convince myself that closing my eyes for a few seconds would not cause me to fall back asleep. Then I'll wake up an hour or so later and I'm dangerously late ha.

I think melatonin does more than improve recall. They are very vivid and feverish usually for me.
